First thing you should know about me is that I have a deep passion for people. My mom used to say, “If you ask the right questions, pay attention, listen and truly dedicate yourself in discovering the many layers of a person then you are on the right track to discovering beauty and wonder.” That is my goal and passion when meeting my clients is to break the outer surface and truly get to know who you are so that I may capture the real you.
Just to give you a little more detail into who I am… I LOVE Jesus, I’m an avid book reader, Harry Potter admirer, lover of cold weather, I have 1,001 sweaters, and I teach kids art classes during the week. I am a huge coffee snob if you must know and was trained for 3 years as a professional barista and where I also met my husband, Mac: )
I was only 16 when I first got my camera and man did I stink at taking photographs haha. The more though I practiced the more I realized how much of an art form it was. It only took a year or two to discover that I wanted to do this as a career and then I made the brave decision on going to school and getting my photographers degree! It took a lot but finally after a huge amount of encouragement from my parents I offically got my business up and running at 21! As of now I live in Oklahoma with my loving husband Mac and our dog Petra, our cat Lily and snake Agni!
Today I focus on Weddings, Families and Couples! I love my job and can’t image doing anything else.
